Best Italian Restaurants in Kittery

Our favorite Italian spot. Top quality food, reasonably priced. Always a good vibe with excellent service from a good crew that seems to stay the same. Food is always phenomenal, piping hot and tasty and drinks are great. Our fav is the chicken parm (get it with vodka sauce) For first timers just pay attention to the time limits on tables as they turn them fast.

We visited Louie’s on the opening night of Portsmouth’s Restaurant Week and enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner for $52 per person. I started with my favorite—a perfectly prepared Manhattan—while my wife enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. For our starters, I chose the pasta and she opted for the salad. We shared both and enjoyed every bite. My hake entrée and her pork were equally delicious. Lovely desserts rounded out a meal that felt like a special treat. We’ll be returning soon!

Massimo’s is always one of our favorite restaurants in Portsmouth. We miss it when we leave for the season. We have never had nothing but fantastic meals each and every time.

We had such a lovely experience at Napoletana Pizzeria and Bar! The atmosphere was inviting and perfect for a special night out. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. We look forward to coming back!

I indicated four blocks in noise level meaning I was pleased with the LOW level of noise We had a parking spot right out front; we were shown to a booth giving lots of room; our waitress Brook was phenomenal, only checking on us when needed and not being overly aggressive; the bread and oil was great; the fried mozzarella was tasty; and the veal parmigiana was excellent!! Price was proper. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we plan to go back again soon!
