Best Italian Restaurants in St. Petersburg

It was my seventh year wedding anniversary. The staff was amazing and the food was perfect. The cocktails were great. Our server was a sweetheart. They brought us complementary champagne and really made our night special. This is our third time here because we love Leo and will definitely come back.

This is my third or 4th visit to the restaurant, and it did not disappoint! We tried the Spring Tasting menu, which was delightful and fresh. Key flavor notes throughout seretvbaby peas, mint, lemon balm, basil, ramps, lamb, sweet crab.

We had their daily special salad and pizza. Both were absolutely fantastic! Destiny was our server and she was awesome! I love this restaurant!!!

Bonu is a guaranteed winner any day of the week. Three years running and still our favorite St Pete eatery. We go often and take every out of town visitor to this awesome restaurant. Never a bad meal or cocktail. Love Bonu.

We went for dinner on Wednesday May 28 and had the tasting menu and wine pairing-- 5 courses plus an amuse bouche on either end. First, the service was impeccable from the moment of walking in to Corey who was our server. Just the write combination of welcoming, attentive, and informative without distracting from the meal. And then the food.. an oyster amuse bouche with shaved foie gras and caviar -- delectable, paired with a perfect champagne. That champagne also went with the first course, perhaps the best steak tartare we've ever had. This was followed by a delicious goat chese and tomato salad, matched with a Gavi. Then the rabbit agnolotti and the wagyu, each paired with a perfect reds - a Burgundy and then a Borderauz. The agnolotti was a special dish. Tghe wagyu cooked perfectly over a bed of baby vegetables and fiddlehead ferns. Then a dessert course which is a housemade replica of a "chocolate candy bar" (that really doesn't do it justice) with a unique Solera 1927 Pedro Jimenez sherry. Not a usual fan of sherry but this was delightful and perfectly paired with the dessert. Overall a fantastic evening. The pacing was perfect, never feeling rushed. We have had more expensive tasting menus and wine pairings in NYC and this easily matched them if not exceeded in quality and overall experience.
