We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Table of 8 for business lunch on a Wednesday so was quite quiet. Great service. All 8 dishes were excellent from the fish stew to the calf's liver!

What a gorgeous restaurant. The decor is really lovely inside but the best part is definitely the terrace overlooking Madeira Drive with a view to the sea. Service was tip top; everyone was very attentive, knowledgeable and lovely. I have coeliac disease and they knew what I needed and made sure I was safe. The food was the best Italian food we have eaten in Brighton for many years. Really delicious ingredients that taste as they are supposed to. We will definitely return.

We went to Fatto et Mano for my birthday meal. The pizzas were delicious. Love the taste of the dough they use. Toppings were also fresh and tasty. I had a negroni which was spot on. Prompt and friendly service.
