Best Izakayas in Gospel Oak

Came here on a Tuesday night for a birthday treat. Absolutely love the design of the restuarant, casual yet polished and inviting with high ceilings, warm lighting, woodwork and a pop of cobalt blue. The food was so delicious and fresh and all the service staff were so lovely and helpful. Will be back again!! (Big shout out to Mark for also coming over to say hi!)

Excellent experience and our waiter Elliot was superb. Food presented nicely, concept well thought out and explained to the table too. On the pricier side but to be expected with the quality / standards of the setting. Will be returning and would recommend. If coming in a group or with clients I’d say to try and ask for a table rather than around the counter.

Immensely enjoyed the meal which was fresh & delicious. Portion size acceptable. My friend and I had the Beef Tataki, chicken teriyaki Sashimi & the California maki. We also ordered desserts milk cafe & black sesame Mille crepe. My friend and I have been to other Japanese restaurants in the past, but this truly stands out - unique & flavourful! Ambience was lovely & service excellent. I feel the cocktails should not be served in a coupe glass, but rather in a gin ballon glass for that price. My friend ordered the sake martini which was lovely & I ordered the sake south side which I returned as it had a strange smell. The waitress kindly changed it to sake Martini. Overall excellent place and will definitely return 😁

Excellent Venue in Knightsbridge. Very high quality food and very professional service and quiet surroundings allowing an enjoyable meal and easy communicate with your guest. Best Charlie Goodson Lafayette, LA

My wife and I have visited MFC before and looked forward to returning. It did not disappoint! Service and quality of food were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
