Best Japanese Restaurants in Downtown Louisville

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and they really made our anniversary special! Our waiter Johnathon was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on. For an appetizer we got the Ruby Roll which was amazing. My wife doesn’t like sushi and thought it was really good. I got the Sea Bass burrow style and my wife got the pork chop which were both fantastic. For dessert we split the Butter Pie which was really good. Definitely a 10/10 experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Again, this place is the best we’ve hit in Louisville. Every trip here we come here a few times per visit. We always ask for Amanda. Love her. She’s knowledgeable of the foods and just a great person. As always excellent food, excellent service. Highly, highly recommend this place as stop on anyone’s visit here. Throw in a great host like Robert, nothing can go wrong. See y’all soon, be safe.

First we were seated in the PERFECT location for a party of three! And it was our Grandson’s 16th Birthday! I had forgotten that I mentioned that in the reservation, but it was nice the way they already had a birthday card ready for him from the staff at the table, and casually mentioned it throughout the dinner; and didn’t make him feel uncomfortable! He enjoyed it! I also mentioned that the adults wanted to sample Inclusion Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey by JD Shelbourne, and our waiter took care of this as well! Everything was perfect, even down to offering our grandson a complementary dessert for his birthday! He chose the crème brûlée, which he’s never had, and he was very pleased! We can’t say enough about how pleased we were! Thank you Malone’s for always making it a wonderful experience!

hiko-A-mon has been my go to sushi place for years and it still delivers great food and service at a reasonable price. At busy times it’s best to have a reservation but walk in guests can usually be seated.
