This night I wanted to be intimate, warm & memorable. It was just that….the staff - amazing. The food - amazing. The ambiance - amazing. The valet service - amazing. This last time I had the arugula beet salad and the lamb shank and the consistency of flavor and high-quality of ingredients are amazing every time without exception, but one of the things that I also love is the quality of service and character of all of the people who work at Cypriana from the people who greet you the servers, and even the people that seem to know how to clear a table without interrupting conversations or the vibe you have going at any given moment. I love to sit at the bar half of the time and have grown accustomed to bartender Sam pairing a craft cocktail to whatever I’m eating without me having to make a decision. During my last visit bartender Ezra made a Venus 57 which I’ve ordered dozens of times, but let’s just say this time it was different and in a good way. This young man, though barely out of leading strings knows his way around a craft cocktail if you are fortunate enough to be sitting at the bar when he’s slinging drinks, consider yourself blessed! And as always when you’re at Cypriana, you’re not just going to eat a meal you are going to have a complete dining experience that will feel like you are visiting your Greek relatives home for dinner with amazing food, legendary quality of service and sometimes a nuance that elevates something that you’ve gotten a million times as a pleasant surprise! And as always, if you’re lucky chef, Maria will come out to your table, chat with you and even spill the beans on how she prepares her farm fresh ingredients for all of the culinary masterpieces that come out of the Cypriana kitchen.
