Best Modern European Restaurants in Bala Cynwyd

When we arrived, there were a few people in line either waiting to be seated or waiting for take out. Thereafter, the hostess stepped away from her stand, twice for several minutes at a time. Thus we waited at the door for ~ 10 minutes despite reservations, which did not make a good first impression. The restaurant was small, a little cramped, and very noisy, which also raised concerns. However, once we were seated, service was excellent thereafter. From the time we sat down, we completed our meal within 30 minutes (no apps, no dessert.) The server was very attentive and noted to fill water glasses without being asked. He also brought the check without being asked. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Despite the beginning of our experience, it is a place we will return to.

Brunch on the (covered) patio was fantastic. The space was lovely. The food was outstanding. The service was excellent. Highly recommend!

We had a very enjoyable meal at Suzani. The kabobs were excellent and for the first time ever I am raving about the asparagus. It was delicious. Next visit I will save room for dessert.
