Best Peruvian Restaurants in Halstead

It's not often that the flavours and presentation of the food really makes us sit up and notice, but the dishes at El Alquimista certainly did! We took my parents out for my mother's birthday, not really knowing much about the restaurant and were made very welcome by the lovely, attentive (but not intrusive) staff throughout and the food was thoughtfully crafted and wonderfully presented. It's a small team and they clearly paid attention to the whole experience. It's not a cheap restaurant, but for high end dishes served, it's more than worth the price. Loved the home made bread selection!

I went on Saturday with Venezuelan friends and it was amazing! Food, ambience, people, service. I loved! they know to looked after their customers. Recomend 100%

Our favourite Islington restaurant, superb food and excellent service.

Fantastic almost hidden restaurant with great views. Food was delicious, pretty to look at and with great flavours - they took allergies very seriously and gave recommendations off the back of it. We had originally booked the fiesta but changed to a la carte because of the allergies. Bill discrepancy was handled quickly, was disappointing that the accessible toilet was out of access as a mobility aid user but apart from that will definitely go back for cool vibes, great service and food.

Absolutely wonderful. Food was incredible, prices very fair and the service was superb!
