Best Portuguese Restaurants in Coniston Cold

The food was great, you had to go to the bar for drinks which was a little frustrating. It was a very energetic place, however the noise levels were to high if you just want to eat and chat... I had booked on the second floor for 5 people to eat, it was very difficult to have a conversation. So would recommend if you want a lively night out, but if you want to sit and chat this is not the place.

The evening we chose was a little quiet, which meant lots of table visits but on a regular night a slightly different atmosphere. The service is very good, when very busy I would imagine a very vibrant atmosphere. The salad bar is well stocked & tasty. The meats & fish brought to the table to go with the salad are delicious. It comes on a skewer, diced cuts of beef, lamb, chicken (chilli, lemon), chorizo, bass, prawns - there is possibly more but by this time I was ready to burst. Strongly recommend & we will be back...... with friends.
