Having stood its ground since 1640, it is an integral part of Inkpen and the other surrounding villages. Although we refurbished our bar and restaurant in 2014, the Crown and Garter hasn’t lost it’s old pub charm!     This was a lovely pub restaurant with beautiful accommodation. The restaurant was quiet being mid-week but the service was good and staff very helpful. Regarding noise levels it wasn't a problem for my hard of hearing husband as there were soft furnishings and one this occasion not too many diners.
