Best Regional Mexican Restaurants in Fountain Valley

Our experience was amazing! All staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice. We sat at the plancha and the cook was wonderful. Our server was cheerful and friendly. I liked the fact that the cook would let us know about all of the ingredients being used and asked if we had any allergies. The food was excellent. Overall great experience.

Had dinner last night at El Mercado Mexican Kitchen and honestly had such a great experience. It was actually my first time there and happened to be for a first date, so the vibe and service definitely mattered, and they absolutely nailed it! Bannessa took care of us and was seriously awesome the entire night. Super friendly, attentive without hovering, and just made everything feel easy and welcoming. You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and it made the experience that much better. The food was incredible, too. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and you could genuinely taste the quality ingredients in every dish. Nothing felt overly processed or generic like a lot of places do nowadays. The menu had a ton of great options too, to the point where I already know what I want to try next time. An all-around great spot with amazing food, great energy, and stellar service. Definitely going back and absolutely recommending it to friends.

The food is delicious and the lunch menu portions are perfect. Just enough to be filling but not stuffed at lunch. The staff are very cheerful and attentive. We were there to celebrate and the staff were very accommodating.

Wish meny is just little bit bigger, at least appetizers. Everything else is great, except stuff, stuff is amazing!
