Our story begins in Stockholm. Arriving in late March with rivers still frozen, clear blue skies, clean crisp air, amazing food, culture, design and so much innovation – this was to be the first of many trips to Scandinavia and the beginning of a beautiful journey that led us to the KuPP concept. We wanted to create a quality all day casual dining experience with a strong focus on speciality coffee and one that embraces Scandinavian design, cuisine coupled with sharing what we enjoy in the UK. KuPP. is about sharing a little of what we love about Scandinavia, proudly wrapped up in a big British blanket. KuPP is about all day casual dining – it’s a place to meet and socialise, to drink, dine, graze and share. From an early morning breakfast to a midmorning coffee, through to lunch (not forgetting afternoon coffee of course), a few cocktails as the sun goes down and a delicious dinner shared with friends and family.

Welcome to Skogen Kitchen Oxford! We are an independent Scandinavian inspired cafe in the heart of Oxford. We take bookings for breakfast, brunch and lunch from 9am to 2.30pm weekdays and 9.30am - 3.30pm weekends. Or stop by for Swedish fika (coffee and a Swedish bun or one of our home-made cakes). All of our delicious food is made on the premises using wonderful ingredients and prepared with love. For a true Scandinavian experience try our home-made meatballs or the Scandi-plate - pickled herring, gravadlax and beetroot salad served with Leksands crisp bread.

    Warm welcome on arrival. Menu choices were very good and the chef was prepared to take into account my food allergy and adjust the menu to accommodate me, which I appreciated. The wine list was good too.. The food was delicious. I chose meatballs which were amazing. My friend chose the beef casserole which she thoroughly enjoyed and also she was delighted with her starter of cured fish . The chocolate dessert which was served warm and with cream was amazing. We had a delightful evening and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. We look forward to returning here soon.
