Everything was absolutely perfect. The drinks were delicious and perfectly made . Our governor server for dinner was incredibly professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, and very friendly. We started with appetizers. I had the blue point oysters that were fresh and absolutely delicious. My partner had the beet salad with orange sections and again it was delicious. We shared a pasta dish with broccoli rabbi and sausage., again it was outstanding. We also shared the pork Oso, Bucco ; delicious!! The food, service and ambience are all so perfect!

Everything we ordered was delicious! The Blood Orange mocktail was refreshing and not too sweet. The Delicata Squash Salad was light and evenly dressed. The Pan-Seared Halibut was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. My friend enjoyed the Cioppino as well. The servers were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant-- we were able to carry on a conversation without shouting or straining to hear each other. At the end of the meal, we were served a complimentary chocolate pudding, along with a "fortune-teller fish!" Mermaid Inn was one again a great choice for am evening out with a good friend!

There are plenty of restaurants where you can have a good dinner, but very few that make an evening feel like an occasion. Oceanos is one of those places. My wife and I came for our anniversary, and everything was exceptional. We started with the grilled octopus, which was incredibly tender with just the right amount of char. It set the tone for a fantastic meal. What really impressed us was Mandy. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and effortless hospitality made us feel genuinely taken care of. Nothing felt rushed, and the evening unfolded beautifully. Oceanos understands fine dining. Elegant without being pretentious, polished without feeling stiff. A wonderful place to celebrate something special.
