Fantastic! We decided to spend part of our 45th wedding anniversary at Louisiana purchase… Service was spectacular! Food was spectacular! Even the chef came out and checked on us… It was wonderful! You will not go wrong by having lunch or dinner at the Louisiana purchase!

This was our second time dining at Books & Records. The first time was on a busier week night and with the close tables and live music it had a liveliness to it but not super conducive for quiet conversation. This time we visited on a Sunday evening and it was quiet and we had great table conversation. Both times our food was excellent (we love the brussel sprouts and the chicken bao buns). This time we also got the tuna crudo and it was delicious. Service is attentive and our server was kind.

Dined here for the first time and Michael was our server. He was absolutely incredible! He knew every single detail of the entire menu and made our experience absolutely perfect. The Hunnya roll and bang bang shrimp were so delicious. We will 100% be back.

This is an absolutely charming restaurant in a historic building from the 1800’s. The ambiance is refined yet warm and welcoming. Beautiful interior design elements. Creative cocktail menu and curated CA-focused wine list. Wonderful menu, organic and locally-sourced, in-house pastry chef. Salmon was delicious, the bread pudding was the best I’ve ever encountered. The attentive wait staff and mixologist were a joy to engage with.

Three Three Seven is my favorite dining experience, not only in San Diego, but possibly of all time. The thought and concern that chef Jay and his team take to curate an incredible meal is truly unforgettable. Every dish is somehow both fresh and new but nostalgic at the same time. I’ve been twice so far and will continue to be a dedicated guest forever!
