We had a fantastic meal, as always. Our server was wonderful and courteous, and the food is so good. Loved the grilled octopus starter! We've always had good meals here and will definitely keep coming. My only wish is that it felt cozier, as it feels a little cold. This could be greatly improved with better lighting (maybe cordless lamps with shades on the tables, lower lighting throughout. There was a fire going in the corner, but that is not visible to most of the restaurant due to the layout.
All in all, Restaurant 17 is a gem and we are lucky to have it in Travelers Rest!
