Best Southern American Restaurants in Mauldin

Sassafras was delightful! My husband and I went for our anniversary and enjoyed everything: the ambiance, food, and staff. We'd highly recommend it for a special occasion.

Halibut dish and fried chicken dish were amazing!!

Stopped in for brunch today and we both had a very good meal. My husband had the Shrimp and Grits as he has always enjoyed that served at Stella's Bistro. It was just as he remembered it, well prepared grits and lots of flavor. I ordered the French toast which was delicious; carmelized outside with a soft and flavorful interior. My husband ordered the chocolate panna cotta with fig and it too was very tasty. Our server was a very capable and pleasant young woman named Keri who answered all our questions with grace. It was our first time here and the restaurant is very attractive and it was a pleasure to explore Bridgeway Station afterwards.

Two of us had birthdays. The staff was incredibly engaged with us and made a wonderful evening for us. The food was outstanding. There was a new dish on the menu and the waiter was able to describe it very well. We've been here many times and it's never disappointed. Highly recommended for a casual meal or for a special event. We love Stella's!
