Best Sri Lankan Restaurants in Great Missenden

The was our first visit and certainly won’t be our last. The service was polite, friendly and very helpful about ingredients suitable for Coeliacs. The menu comprised genuine Sri Lankan dishes with a decent variety of choices. The food itself was cooked to perfection and well presented. Flavoursome without being overpowering. The portion sizes were very generous and none of the 4 of us managed to empty our plates, we wished we lived locally so we could have benefitted from “doggy bags”. Overall, outstanding food and service and genuine value for money.

Gosh a wonderful welcome ,efficient delivery of drinks, great advice about what to order in terms of portion size etc. ( our first time here and eating Sri Lankan food) The food was wonderful delicate but complex spices. We are playing to return

The food at Mova was exquisite. Definitely one of the best buffets I’ve ever been to. Beautiful tasting curries, delicious biryani and wonderful mutton rolls. The array and selection of foods was second to none. A Malaysian influence of noodles, hoppers, beautiful garlic prawns—all artfully presented—made the experience truly memorable. Every dish was bursting with flavour and freshness, highlighting the chef's skills and attention to detail. I literally wanted to try a bit of everything and very nearly succeeded. You could’ve rolled me out of there. The setting and styling of the restaurant also stood out, oppulent and colourful. The music was modern but not overloud. Staff were attentive, engaging and courteous. We arrived for an early dinner at 18:30 and didn’t depart until 21:00 and there was no pressure to leave. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming throughout our visit, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. Loved it and we’ll be back.

Good service, food very good, plenty of choice, staff are attentive, my group was very impressed. Will definitely book again in the future.

Six of us had a delicious meal and lovely cocktails - staff were friendly and professional, service was great.
