I take everyone I care about here. Joy, Koji and Rachel are truly some of the most accommodating and warm people. Everyone here truly takes their job seriously and is there to make sure your dining experience is perfect. It’s such a breath of fresh air. I recommend every single thing on the menu, and no matter where you sit you will have an incredible time. Gluten free friendly as well!

First time here since before the pandemic - haven’t had the chance to get to Portland. Food was a good as ever. Love sitting at the counter and chatting with the chefs. The calamari was outstanding as was the nigiri.

We are in Vancouver for a week for work snd loved Shinsen so much, we went twice! The menu offers a perfect blend of traditional and unique options. Being from Alaska, we are picky about fish, esp salmon, and the New Zealand king salmon did not did not disappoint. Our fave rolls were the Samurai (yummy hint of chilis) and the Rainbow (so fresh and loved the flying fish row). The hamachi was the best we’ve had. Service was perfect. The atmosphere was elegant yet cozy. Prices were fair for the excellent quality. Highly recommend.
