Quite simply my favorite restaurant in the world. I’m from Costa Rica, and every single time I travel to Los Angeles or Chicago, making a stop here is an absolute must and I go as many times as I possibly can. The food was delicious. Service was great. Plenty of parking at the plaza the restaurant is located at. Food prices are a bit high. I didn’t try the cocktails but they sounded good.

Rise Rooftop Lounge was delightful. The food was really incredible and delicious. The drinks were good. Everything was served quickly. The staff were all very friendly. The staff also constantly checked in on us. We thoroughly enjoyed it and may try it again during our stay. I highly recommend it.

It was amazing! It’s like having a private VIP booth just for you and your date or group of people. Daniel was great and Ryan the manager came by to make sure we were getting stellar service. This is an awesome place for dates, group events, business meetings, and salsa dancing.

As always, I love the exceptional selection and quality of the meats. The vegetables are consistently fresh and top quality, and the ambiance and staff are always wonderful.

It was very cool to see tuna cutting for the first time. We got lucky and won the raffle to the kamatoro cut, and it was no doubt the highlight of our meal. The cut was tender, juicy and buttery and worth every dollar. We also ordered tuna sashimi and sushi, which were fresh but the quality of the fish was less stellar. It was heavy on the akami and not much toro, and certain cuts were stringy and harder to chew. Overall this was a very unique experience, and I very much appreciate Shinsengumi for bringing cultural events like this to our neighborhood. I will definitely return for future events.

Amazing experience and very accomodating! They let us pre-order our meal for our guests in advance and accommodate for their dietary restrictions. Our hosts had a relaxed experience without having to worry about what to order and had a great time.
