An extraordinary new addition to Tampa’s dining scene. Naree combines bold, intensely flavored Thai cuisine with Japanese ingredients and classic French and Nordic technique, all presented with remarkable precision and creativity. The flavors are noticeably more complex and assertive than typical fine dining, but beautifully balanced throughout. Chef Naree—wife of Chef Ebbe Vollmer—shares a space with Ebbe, but this is very much its own restaurant and culinary identity. Every course was thoughtful, beautiful, and genuinely memorable. The intimate atmosphere, attention to detail, service, and wine pairings were equally exceptional. Naree belongs in the conversation with Tampa's best eating experiences. It has only been open a few weeks, but the experience already feels remarkably polished. Truly masterful cooking and easily one of the most exciting meals I’ve had in Tampa. I would not be surprised to see Michelin recognition follow.
