This is a wonderful bistro which in good weather has outdoor seating. Remarkably, here i twas November and the weather warm so we elected to sit outdoors. It was a special occassion and Petit Robert, the setting and ambiance set the mood in creating the NYC French restaurant (unfortunately now closed) where we dined many years agoland the excellent food which also made it memorable.
I ordered the squash soup - so creamy and delicious. yM wife and I both had the rack of lamb in a pearl onion and pecan creamy potato suce. It was plated nicely and the serving was generous.
A shout out to Julian, our waiter, who had a good sense of humor, was personable (he congenially agreed to take our photo) and was attentive but not overbearing.
All in all - a memorable evening. Thank you Petit Robert and staff.
