This ended up being an extremely enjoyable meal and experience. We were a little concerned on arrival - the greeting felt a bit dismissive, almost like they didn't want us there, the place was empty except for one other table, we did have a reservation, however once we were seated, our servers were great.
The decor is lovely, dark and moody, beautiful lighting and there are some cozy private booths, which we were lucky to be seated in. We were there at 7pm, so early for dinner, and it was a nice quiet atmosphere at that time.
But the best part was the food. We had four different tapas, and each was wonderful, a real taste treat. I have a gluten allergy and didn't have a problem. The pacing of the food arriving was great, allowing us to enjoy 1-2 at a time, so much better than all arriving so quickly you feel that you can't savor them. My favorites were the gambas (melt in your mouth) and the omelette with chorizo!
Looking forward to another visit when we are back in PR.
