The St.John's Chop House is the sister restaurant to The Cambridge Chop House on King's Parade. Once again the emphasis is on traditional British food, locally sourced, seasonal and all served with our friendly efficient service.Sharing dishes play a big part in the make-up of the menu with, for example, whole slow roasted shoulders of lamb available for groups of 4-6. The restaurant inhabits a 200-year-old former Almshouse and is deceptively large with 5 separate dining areas and a secluded rear garden/patio. It can accommodate parties of up to 50 and a variety of set menus are available which can be tailored to your individual requirements.A great value set lunch/early bird menu is available 12-3pm and 6-7pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). 2 courses for £15 and 3 courses for £19. Outside tables cannot be booked but on arrival if you do wish to sit outside then please ask.
