Best Wine Bars in Finleyville

This was our first dining experience at Capital Grill. The experience was outstanding. Our waiter (Stephen) was extremely friendly. He made numerous food and drink recommendations that we took to heart- including my drink selection (“In-Fashion” vs an Old Fashioned) and his dinner recommendation of the 10 oz bone-in filet with Kona rub. It was spectacular. Dinner was topped off with crème brulee that was light and fluffy, unlike the many others I’ve had at other restaurants. Be sure to ask for the butterscotch/caramel sauce!! Stephen recommended this and it took our dessert to “over the top” status. Atmosphere is good. Our seats were in a booth kinda near the front entrance, which was fine. The bar looked nice, though we did not have a drink there. Overall, my wife and I really liked Capital Grill-Pittsburgh. Our waiter made it great.

Always good like all BB places. Reliability is amazing

We have dined at Alta Via a number of times and always enjoyed great meals and service. Last evening our burrata appetizer was delicious with warm bread and a generous portion of prosciutto. We love their small portions as it allows room for dessert! My wife added chicken to her rigatoni and our server was kind enough to bring extra sauce. My tagliatelle with lobster and sun-dried tomatoes was excellent . Our dessert surprise was tiramisu, not served as the usual slice of cake, but in a glass. It was rich and creamy. We have taken other friends to Alta Via and always enjoyed our meal.

In Pittsburgh for a conference and retirement dinner, fantastic food and service. Server Jeff was attentive and took very good care of us. The food was delicious.

Staff was wonderful, menu had many options, food was fresh and delicious.
