So efficient, professional, humorous and the attention to details was outstanding. - AAshleyCleveland / Akron / Canton •5 reviews5.0Dined on May 21, 2026What a lucky find in OpenTable when I was booking for pre-graduation dinner by E.J. Thomas Hall! They just opened and are currently in a soft opening, but everything was fantastic! The service was excellent and our server was completely on point all night. They specialize in small plates and shareables, typically bringing dishes out as they’re ready from the kitchen. We were there for a graduation dinner with grandparents who prefer a more traditional dining experience, and the staff was incredibly accommodating — they served our meals together more like individual entrees. We also had a tight timeline since we needed to walk over to E.J. Thomas Hall for graduation afterward, and they did a great job making sure we were able to enjoy dinner and still make it on time. It’s an easy walk from the restaurant, which was a huge plus. The food was amazing. The lobster ravioli was absolutely to die for! The wine selection was great, the limoncello martini was a hit, and the under-21 crowd loved the house-made lemon ice. Only downside was finding the entrance since we aren’t familiar with downtown Akron. The entrance is not on Main Street — you have to walk down the path in front of the amphitheater and enter through the door marked #168. Definitely worth figuring out, though! Pricing was also very reasonable, especially for a group of 8. We’re already looking forward to coming back again when we can relax and fully enjoy the atmosphere, food, and drinks without being on a timeline.More infoThe Press Room at 3 Roses Wine Cellars$$$$• Winery• Akron•3.1
