A casual and stylish restaurant in Higashi-Azabu, near to Azabu Juban, operated by ANZCO, a major New Zealand meat producer.A place to eat delicious New Zealand meat at reasonable prices, the restaurant is steadily gaining a following. The first thing you see when you enter the restaurant is the glass-walled aging room. The cuts of meat hanging in the room are a sight to behold. Under the consolidated ANZCO production system, the meat is imported into Japan from ultra-hygienic meat processing plants, and the beef delivered directly to Wakanui is then dry aged to enhance the flavour. The most popular item on the menu is the 1kg bone-in 'ocean beef' ribeye, to be shared by a couple or a group of friends. 80% of customers now order the lamb chop amuse, acclaimed ever since the restaurant opened as the most tender and delicious meat imaginable. Some people like to compare this with a rack of lamb. This restaurant will surprise and delight any meat lover.

Great food, I know it is a perfect restaurant and would recommend it to others who are considering visiting here. However, our experience was not so perfect We went to Akasaka Tsutsui for my hubby's birthday dinner. Made the reservation that the waterfall and garden view from the room seemed nice on their website I thought the birthday course menu and the private room would be perfect for our special day. We flew all the way to Tokyo and took a taxi to get there. The husband was really expecting his birthday night in Tokyo so much. unfortunately, the staff manager missed our reservation request and set us at the hall table. course menu was not on the menu either. My husband got so upset that our friend in Japan had to translate his upset anger thru the phone. The owner of the restaurant came at last and offered us everything he could offer at the end. (I won't say what it was exactly that I don't want this review to be badly used) was touched by his management. The situation was so critical that had to accept his offer that we have never experienced before but we felt a little reverential by him.

Exceptional food with nice views that couldn't be enjoyed. Would very much like to return with earplugs due to the raucous "private party" event in the not so "private room" near our table. Ridiculous. I cupped my hands and shouted to my date across from me for effect and to get noticed...no one heard me it was that loud. Love the food...enjoyed the service...hated the ambience which was impossible to enjoy with the view of Tokyo Tower supposedly to make for a nice time.
