Place is a bit small but vibey. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. The food overall was pretty good but the main star of the show was definitely the Karubi. Those were to die for.

Bowen Hills
About the restaurant
Montrachet at Bowen Hills, is located on King Street. Large windows enclose a lavishly furnished space, creating
intimacy for a world of luxury inside; white tablecloths, silver cutlery, rich timbers and a well-stocked bar and cellar are all redolent of a charming Parisian brasserie and perceptive waitstaff are attentive in fulfilling culinary desires.
Stepping into Montrachet is like stepping into a Parisian bistro. From the burgundy leather banquet that runs the length of the room, to the marble comptoir (bar), Montrachet oozes elegance and charm. Traditional overtones and design are accompanied by Laguiole cutlery, monogrammed crockery and the finest glassware. French antiques, metal pastis signs and gilt framed mirrors create an ambience perfectly complimentary to the French cuisine of executive chef and owner Clement Chauvin is famous for.

Absolutely loved our date night at Venner. Opted for the Set Menu which was a great way to taste things we wouldn't normally try and have a variety of pleasant surprises. The amount of food was perfect and you never had to wait long between courses. Each dish was exceptionally tasty and beautifully presented. The ambience was perfect and the staff were attentive and seemed passionate about the menu. My favourites were the kangaroo pastrami, potato brioche, and the tender pork - along with the madeleines at the end of the meal. We also loved our cocktails and the wine recommended by the team. We can't wait to recommend Venner to anyone looking for an excellent meal in Brisbane.

Another highly enjoyable experience at Acciuga. Food was delicious and the suggested matched wines and service excellent. This time we succumbed to dessert, the cake of the day and were not disappointed as it too was very good. Thank you for another great experience.

About the restaurant
Drawing inspiration from Thailand’s 50s-70s era, stepping into Big Boy Bangkok feels like discovering a hidden bar down a Bangkok side street, moody, vibrant, full of personality where neon lights & witty advertising defined the city’s electric atmosphere.

Those design cues come to life through South-East Asian graphics, vintage textures, & playful typography set against a sleek, contemporary backdrop, matched with vibrant cocktails & flavour-packed dishes.

The name comes straight from the streets when vendors call out “Hey Big Boy!” to tempt customers toward their stalls. That same cheeky spirit defines Big Boy Bangkok’s personality — lively, welcoming & just a little irreverent.
From its inventive cocktails to its flavour-packed dishes and atmospheric design, Big Boy Bangkok invites guests to eat, drink and linger in a space that captures the spirited soul of Bangkok.

The food was beautifully matched to each sake well cooked and delicious. Definitely great value for money i wasn't looking for more food or more sake by the end of the evening and all staff were friendly and attentive making for an even more pleasant experience.
