Best Authentic Restaurants in Pocantico Hills

Every single thing about this restaurant is FANTASTIC! The food, the ambience, the service etc! They made us feel like regulars! They had their eyes on every patron while still allowing us to dine in privacy. They should be packed every night!

First time at Trata on the River and we can't wait to return. We enjoyed everything at the restaurant from the food, the atmosphere, the specialty cocktails and mocktails. And especially our waiter Paolo. He was polite, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly 🙌. Thank you for a fabulous evening.

This casual restaurant has been a local jewel for many years. The ambiance is warm and friendly with regulars enjoying excellent and creative cooking and wonderfully curated wine list with reasonable prices and generous helpings. The owner and executive chef Dave Dubarry is a Dobbs Ferry icon. If you haven’t tried Dave’s pork ossobuco, or pasta with ragu you are missing a truly stunning gastronomical experience. We drove up from Manhattan (45 minutes) for an early dinner and were blown away by the food. The 4 course special fixed dinner was $40 pp with an amazing $40 bottle of Syrah from Cortona Italy. I don’t want to create an unreasonable expectation, but, if you have the opportunity to eat here, just don’t miss it.

First time here. It was my Birthday and the lunch was great. Fresh oysters and a great veal lunch. Will be back.
