Best Casual Restaurants in Great Chesterford

Excellent Indian food. All dishes we ordered were excellent including the lamb chops, kebabs, kale chaat, lamb curry, king prawn curry, the butter chicken and the bread. The only disappointing dish was the prawn pakora, all you tasted was the batter.

Seven of us had a fantastic time at The Tattershall Castle. Our window table overlooking the water was perfect, and the restaurant downstairs felt like a calm oasis compared to the lively party atmosphere upstairs — a lovely contrast on a mild sunny London evening. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks, and as Londoners who'd somehow never visited before, we'll definitely be back for a central meet-up spot with reasonable prices. A huge thank you to our waiter Khaled, who was friendly, helpful and made the evening!

Never had a poor meal here and the service is always excellent. Also, nicely spaced out so comfortable and not overly loud so you can enjoy the company of those you’re with. Right in the Insurance District, The Factory House is a perfect venue for a meal with colleagues and customers.
