Reception was fast and Maria, our waitress, was lovely. Our dog was pampered a lot, very apreciated. The window-view tables upstairs were great, though some windows didn’t close properly in the heavy rain. A few glasses were cracked and my stool lacked a footrest. The staff handled everything brilliantly, but management should fix these details so the team can focus fully on guests’ experience.

Just a step below tradicional japanese restaurants. This doesn’t mean their quality is bad. The ingredients they use along with the procedures are great. The flavors are great and fresh. Same for the drinks, amazing presentation and flavor. I’d definitely come back and recommend this restaurant.

An amazing experience! They serve some cocktails cantina style, which means you get a little snack alongside your drink. Such a cute and yummy touch--especially good if you're wanting to stop somewhere with a good atmosphere but aren't super hungry. I got the noodles with pork as my main dish and it was INSANE in both size (for one person) and flavor...I had delicious leftovers for about 3 days :) overall, I'd absolutely recommend El Mekong to CDMX visitors. I'll certainly be back.
