- MMarniSeattle / Eastern Washington •15 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 27, 2026I had a lovely meal, everything was outstanding. My only quibble was that i’d said i was finished after dessert and then sat for like 20 minutes waiting for a check, finally i had to go find someone so i could pay and leave, and ended up walking home more in the dark than i’d planned on. Well, and the rhubarb spritz cocktail was not nice imo - the raspberry flavoring in the tonic didn’t taste nice and overwhelmed the rhubarb flavor i was expecting from the Briottet rhubarb liqueur. I’d considered getting a regular G&T and asking them to add a splash of that liqueur but decided to try the spritzer. I’m sure if i’d said i disliked it they’d have offered me something different and i really should have done. With those critiques out of the way, my gosh what a lovely meal, and mostly attentive service until the end. The beetroot terrine with horseradish sorbet was art, and exceptionally delicious. Highly recommend. I had the crepes to save room for a dessert, they were really yummy. The spinach and chard are actually incorporated into the crepe batter, the filling was just mushrooms and creamy cheesy sauce. Scrumptious. The rhubarb and custard dessert was fantastic. I should have asked for the honeycomb to be left off though. The burnt overly sweet taste of it did not fit or improve it imo. Fortunately i could scrape most of it off. I do think the rhubarb was sweetened less to balance the excessive sweetness of the honeycomb, but to my taste the tart rhubarb with only moderately sweet creme anglaise was perfect. Really delicious once the honeycomb was off it. I would gladly go back and try more things on the very interesting menu.More infoBrasserie Blanc Oxford££££• French• Oxford•4.6
