Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Berwyn, Philadelphia County

It was mother's day the place was packed. We started with sushi rolls and it's been a long time since we've had as good. My wife had a shrimp walnut dish which she couldn't say enough good things about. One thing she missed was more vegetables among the huge shrimp. I had surf and turf stir fry which was a perfect mix of beef, chicken, scallops, shrimp, and vegetables. Everything was fresh. Service was attentive without intrusive.

I had the best Mother’s Day thanks to Redstone. The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Thank you so much for an awesome Mother’s Day. 

Great wings and delicious burgers. The live music was nice too.

Dinner at White Dog Cafe Glen Mills was AWESOME tonight! We came for an early Mother's Day meal! Steve, the assistant manager, came by to say hello, and to see how our food was! Chef Mike also came by to say hello, and to see how our food was and he also brought out our desserts! There is no other chef like him, and we think he is magnificent. We truly think he deserves a James Beard Award for his cooking in our book! Evan was our server; he was very entertaining and fun to talk with! For appetizers, Mom and I ordered the Caesar Salad, which had romaine lettuce, red endive, sourdough croutons, Parmesan crisps, and was served with a lemon anchovy dressing. It was yummy! Dad ordered the Wedge Salad off of the Early Dog Menu, which had iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, and was served with ranch dressing. He really enjoyed it! For the main course, Mom and I ordered the White Dog Double Cheddar Burger. Mom had her burger with cheese, lettuce, and a very thinly sliced tomato. I had mine with cheese, and chopped, sautéed red onions. We had them with a side of plain fries! They were delicious! Dad ordered his favorite, the Beef Chopped Steak off of the Early Dog Menu. It was like Salisbury steak, and was served with mashed potatoes, and a wild mushroom gravy. He really enjoyed it! For dessert, we all ordered our favorite off of the Early Dog Menu, the Chocolate Pudding with the farmer's whipped cream! It was delicious, and was gone in seconds.
