Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022."We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind-of-a-bistro and kind-of-a-diner with an internationally inspired menu which is representative of the diverse cultures in Toronto.Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Went above & beyond to accommodate my severe food allergy & thoughtfully modify my food choice so it was both safe & delicious. Service was attentive and right balance for checking if we needed anything versus not interrupting our conversation. Truly a fabulous dining experience all around.

Incredible dining for a special birthday celebration. Wow. Couldn’t have made two older ladies feel more special. From the gracious welcome to the delectable two course luncheon experience meal menu, everything was just perfect. Tatooed Ryan was hip and gracious as our core server, Ted checked in to make sure that they were making the grade throughout the 90 minutes of bliss. Janhve was simply sweet and offered stewardship in phased meal delivery. The shrimp cocktail was gorgeous atop a delicate glassware that showcased the presentation for the palate of a fresh coastal seafood delight. The sumptuous steak was even more satisfying with tender bite sized slices that were impeccably cooked and seasoned for the most discerning of carnivorous appetites. Kudos to the Chef. Bravo. The milestone birthday finished with the best volcano mound of chocolate mud creativity that I’ve ever seen given to special birthday occasion. A+ team! Thank you so very much for your fine service and local quality menus that keep getting top marks!!
