Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton / Poconos

Made a reservation for 5:15, got there and we were sat right away. Food was delicious, we tried the loaded nachos and the bbq pulled pork Mac and cheese, 10/10. My boyfriend tried the screaming goat pizza which he said was 10/10. Loved the vibe! Flies over the place though which got a little annoying but no biggie

The scrimp popper appetizer was very tasty with scrimp larger than one might expect. Same goes for the scrimp in the pasta dish which was very enjoyable.

We enjoyed a lovely Wednesday Date Night at Grico’s. The lace‑curtained booth created such a charming and romantic atmosphere. My husband started with the oysters, while I chose the stuffed mushrooms—absolutely scrumptious and generously filled with crabmeat. Truly my favorite stuffed mushrooms anywhere. The side salad that accompanied dinner was fresh and generously sized. I ordered the Chicken Francaise, which was delicious, and my husband raved about the veal saltimbocca, noting how exceptionally tender the veal was. Our sides were Brussels sprouts and roasted potatoes; both were good, though I personally would have preferred mashed potatoes. Service was excellent throughout the evening. Matt, our waiter, was prompt, professional, and attentive, adding to an already wonderful experience.
