Best Cozy Restaurants in Black Mountain

Our server Dallen was fabulous! Four of us (celebrating two birthdays) ate on the patio with our two dogs. We were more than comfortable with the heaters in the outside area. Our party had 4 different entrees (lamb, duck, trout and beef) and all were delicious.

My husband and I took a trip to Asheville for our anniversary and chose Asheville Proper for our anniversary dinner. The experience was exceptional. When I made the reservation, I let them know we were celebrating. When we arrived, we were given a signed card from the staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary, which was such a sweet touch. We ordered a bottle of wine, steaks, sides and desserts. Everything was presented beautifully and was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. We will definitely be back when we return to the area in the future.

Excellent food! Great service! Great specials that help with affordability! Prices are the same if not less than some local restaurants. I love the cozy feel and the attention to great service.

The food and service were wonderful for Indusdty night. Harmony was very attentive, we loved that she brought a sample taste of the evening special wine and the manager stopped by to check in. The DUCK BAO BUNS were delicious. The Wagyu burger was perfectly prepared with flavorful toppings and a soft roll. The French fries were mildly spiced and tasty. The weather was mild so the doors were open to view the sunset over the mountains. Perfect evening.

This has become our favorite restaurant in WNC. Firstly, Blaze is in management and always helps her team. When we go she always makes a point to make sure everything is awesome and goes out of her way to endure it is. This is not just for us but all restaurant guests. The staff from restaurant reception to wait staff are excellent. I must let you know that also goes for the kitchen. The food quality, potions and presentation are snow and beyond. We can’t say enough of this team and restaurant. You need to go find out for yourself.
