Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.     We went for the first time on a Sunday and I have to say the roast dinner was AMAZING! Everything was so flavoursome, especially the cauliflower cheese and gravy. We opted for the beef and that was cooked to perfection, the roasties were exceptional and the Yorkshire Pudding huge and very tasty. The service was excellent and the ambience of the place perfect. We will definitely be returning for Sunday dinner again and also on another day of the week to experience other offerings from their menu.

    Excellent, friendly service (Becky). Fabulous food and cocktails! Slightly chilly in the dining room and ambience only slightly under par because of a diner on another table playing loud videos on her phone. The ambience of the pub itself is fab though. A really great place to eat and relax with friends and family….highly recommend.

    Absolutely OUTSTANDING food!!! We ordered a lot of different dishes and every single one was exquisite! The drinks were delicious too! Staff were great and explained the menu to us (it was our first time). We will DEFINITELY be back!
