We had fritters for a starter, which were fried with seafood inside and other ingredients we couldn't identify. They were very tasty. The entree was slow cooked boneless short ribs with mashed potatoes and carrots. There was a wine demi glaze over the meat that was delicious. The two ladies that waited on us were superb. We had the prix fixe menu and the pacing was perfect. It allowed us to have a leisurely and elegant dinner. Each course was wonderful, perfection actually. I had the filet mignon as my main course and there were 2 pieces so I brought one home--all the way from Lake Tahoe to San Jose.
