We had never tried this restaurant but after seeing the promotion of the fireside dining with the cute s'mores plush we thought, why not? We were absolutely delighted by the design and atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was also very good and we really enjoyed the truffle fries. We also enjoyed a local craft cider, and a martini. Our server was excellent and was very attentive and pleasant.

I was nervous keeping the reservation because I read some bad reviews on OpenTable, but I really didn't have another choice since it was Christmas week and we had a large party. I'm so glad I kept the reservation. It was a wonderful experience! Yes, you go to the bar to order your food and pick it up, but it is a quick process and kinda fun. The staff was very friendly, and the Tavern was decorated perfectly for the holiday! I will definitely be back!

South City Kitchen never disappoints. We had an amazing experience. The food was wonderful and our server Alivia is the best! Looking forward to my next visit and another serving of the blue crab quiche - so good!
