    Visited here after recommendation from taxi driver. Was greeted warmly at the bar and although fully booked managed to squeeze us in for food. The food was extremely high standard and although just looked like a pub the food was certainly the level of top restaurants. I’ve eaten at high class restaurants and Michelin star restaurants and the Church Inn food was better than some I’d had at these restaurants. I can see why they are constantly fully booked. I had snails for starter and rib eye steak for main and all was cooked to perfection and well presented, unfortunately I couldn’t find room for a pudding as the main course was quite large. Next time we visit Ludlow we will most definitely be returning, friendly staff and excellent food, plus dog friendly so ticks all our boxes.
