Wow! We had the most amazing meals! We started with an appetizer of fried polenta and yummy cocktails - an amaretto sour and an espresso martini. We then had a scrumptious and large Caesar salad with anchovies. Oh boy what a treat. Our entrées were the ribeye steak and veal manicotti. Both were amazing, but the ribeye steak was to die for – it came accompanied with roasted garlic and roasted mushrooms. I ordered Gorgonzola to go with it and made every little bite to include steak, mushroom, garlic, and the Gorgonzola. It was heaven. That was all accompanied with a beautiful bottle of Sangiovese wine. I have to add we did not eat everything and took portions of all of this home. We had to top it off with a yummy dessert . We chose the Keylime pie and coffee . It was real Keylime pie, delicious, refreshing and light. It is hard to get a reservation here, I will admit, but it is worth the weight! We made another reservation as we left and will be back next month for a repeat. Looking forward to seeing Maggie and Paulie. Thank you both for a great night of wonderful food and service!

La Colonial did not disappoint! The food was excellent, the staff was attentive and welcoming, and the cocktails were creative and well-crafted. Don’t miss the prime rib small plate—it was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of the meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food and good service — can’t beat this place for spicy food. And it is spicy!! All good.
