Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Dalston

I took a fellow foodie from Chicago with me to this seafood-based 10-course tasting menu with wine pairing. It's hidden at the back of Hackney Fields, but once inside its a different world. There is a high, horseshoe-shaped table around which guests sit, with plenty of room. From there you get to see the preparation process and the staff talk you through what you are about to eat and drink. Each course was a beautiful surprise to the senses. The presentation is stunning and the flavours amazing. We loved every mouthful and would definitely go back as the menu is always changing according to what is available.

We went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary which we told the restaurant through the booking process. They didn't forget and in fact make it very special for us. With even a handwritten card from the team! Even though we were there for the lunch service, it was still a full blown tasting menus with lots of little extras and they did not hurry us, even though the dinner service was starting shortly after we left. The food was great of course, but the service was excellent as well. Very professional but also personable. We particularly enjoyed our chats with the sommelier.

Absolutely brilliant meal! Rafael and his team go from Strength to strength. One of the very best meals we have had in London. The staff are lovely too.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Service was very warm and friendly, while being very professional, and the food was impeccable. I'll be thinking about many of these for a long time (the Koji dessert and the scallops dish especially). Very highly recommended.
