Tempo is a new-wave Asian eatery and wine bar set beneath the railway arches in Bethnal Green. The menu reflects Chef Eric Wan’s Chinese-Vietnamese heritage - bold, punchy plates designed for sharing, cooked in our open kitchen with a seasonal, flavour-led approach.
Wine sits at the centre of the table. Curated by Dan Long, Isobel McFadden and Olivia Corrigan, the list moves from easy drinking to more adventurous bottles, alongside a rotating by-the-glass selection. Tell us what you’re in the mood for - we’ll take it from there.

      Welcome to Da Terra.
Opening in January of 2019, Da Terra earned its first Michelin star after only 8 months. Following a very eventful 2020, the restaurant was then awarded its second star in the Michelin guide of 2021.
Da Terra is based on the idea of where we come from; our roots. It’s our relationships with the soil, nature, knowledge and people that bring us together.
Located inside the landmark Edwardian Town Hall Hotel, the dining room and lounge boast an elegant and contemporary look.
Chef Rafael Cagali is of Brazilian and Italian origins, and these influences intertwine in a skilful and playfully crafted menu founded on these countries’ traditions as well as his international experiences.
The intricately presented dishes are a symphony of flavours, deeply personal and comforting. The resulting cuisine showcases Cagali’s experimental style paired with world-class wines.

Argentina-raised John Rattagan was the family grill master from an early age, in a country where the asado (barbecue) enjoys near sacred status. Luckily for London, he left his homeland as a young man and set up Buen Ayre in the heart of trendy Hackney. The headline act is the steaks, served in a range of cuts with a simple garnish. Expect warm service, fine Argentine wines and the best steak you’ll taste in the capital.

Tiella Trattoria & Bar is chef Dara Klein's debut restaurant, housed in a 170 year old former Victorian pub on London's iconic Columbia Road. Tiella is an homage to Dara's parents trattoria that she was raised in, Maria Pia's. Drawing on her Pugliese heritage and her upbringing in Emilia-Romagna, Dara's cooking focuses on regional specialities that change with the seasons. You can expect hand rolled pasta, unctuous braises and the best of both Italian and English produce.
There is a 30 cover dining room which you can book, a 15 cover bar which is walk in only and a spacious outdoor terrace. Tiella started as a kitchen residency at The Compton Arms pub, which ran for two years, building a loyal following and acclaim, including a listing in The Good Food Guide and the National Gastropub Awards. Tiella's new permanent site has a buzzy atmosphere with an open plan kitchen, plenty of natural light and beautiful wood panelling throughout.

Darling’s is a fresh pasta eatery in East London. Overlooking Olympic Park, the eatery is a hidden gem in Fish Island where the industrial and creative spaces converge. Roman Road, Bow, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park are just a stroll away from your weekly treat of freshly made pasta and wine from independent producers.
Egle Loit, a trained pasta chef, has previously popped up mostly around East and North London, creating a buzz with her pre-restaurant residency at Vestry House Museum in 2023.
Founder of Darling’s cares dearly about the craft that fresh pasta making requires. “One can turn humble ingredients into abundance with skill,” shares the restaurateur.
Darling’s is designed to be an open space to be shared between the guests and the team, therefore there are no barriers between the service area and the dining area. You’ll find yourself connecting by enjoying your meal at the shared table. Those, who like to hide away, can still do it at separate tables.
