The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

    We had an absolutely wonderful Mother’s Day dinner at Josephine. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming. The staff was attentive, professional, and made our family feel truly special on such an important day. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every dish was prepared with care, and you could tell the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The ambiance was perfect for celebrating Mother’s Day cozy, classy, and family-friendly without feeling overcrowded. What made the evening even more memorable was the overall experience: great service, delicious food, and precious family time all in one place.     We chose The Circular Room at Hotel Hershey for our 32nd wedding anniversary. We were overwhelmed by the little things they did for us. Provided cornbread with raspberry butter, the chocolate dipped strawberries, followed by salted caramel. When the strawberries arrived on the table - the plate had written in hard chocolate - "Happy 32nd Anniversary" What a great touch! These extras along with Mike, our server, made the evening an Eleven out of Ten. The food was outstanding too - we both had the filet and split the Apple Harvest Salad. My wife had a chocolate martini to start the night off that was maybe the best ever. Highly recommend The Circular and ask for Mike! Enjoy the best food and experience in Central PA.
