Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Big Sur

Excellent service, food and ambience. Highly recommend.

This was one of the best lunches I’ve ever had. First, we were seated at the end of a long peninsula dining room built over the water. We had spectacular views of Monterey Bay on both sides. Second, the service was impeccable. Our server and her assistant supervised our meal with friendly precision. We never wanted for anything. Third, the food itself. We were parented with artfully crafted plates with an abundance of food. I’m I had the crab stuffed shrimp pasta and my friend had the crab and shrimp roll. We both had the New England clam chowder, which was melt in the mouth delectable. The dessert tray had at least ten choices, each as desirable as the next. All told, Fish Hopper is a not-miss restaurant when visiting and dining in Monterey.

Phenomenal experience. Our waiter Joseph was fantastic. The view was unparalleled and the food delicious! They accommodated a group of six including two younger children without batting an eye and made it a very special night.

Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. The service was excellent. We had our two dogs with us and they traded them like guests as well. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal. My husband had a few 😊. Highly recommend and will be back as the sanctuary beach resort is one of our favorite places.

We enjoyed our dinner. At first they were out of their ribeye steaks, after rechecking our waiter found some.
