Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Clifton

This week I had a friend in town. On Monday I took her to another nearby restaurant and it was amazing as always. I had never been to The Davidson before Tuesday night and had no clue what to expect. Let me say if you haven’t been just go, you will not be disappointed. From the moment you walk in until the end is just a wonderful experience. The staff is top-notch, and being a foodie we dine out a lot. We also each always order different things so we can try more than one dish. The four of us started with Bread & 3 Butters, Arancini, and we’re going to get the yellowtail tuna one of my favorites, but the waiter suggested the Hamachi and wow is all I can say is wow! Then we moved onto salads. We got two salads two of us split the Chopped Italian, and the other two of us split the Roasted Vegetable Salad.  both we wonderful we were split in our opinion on the salads  but we all agreed if we come back we would do the same thing cause they were both so good. Regretfully, we did not try any of the pastas, next time. We went straight onto the entrées. I ordered the Scallops Grenobloise, (my favorite food), one of us got the Halibut, one of us got the Char-grilled Chicken. When I tell you, those are the best scallops I have ever ate in my life. I am not even joking. They were so good and there was like six or seven of them. The halibut, OMG it was cooked to perfection. The char-grilled chicken was charred, but still very juicy and flavorful, and not dried out at all, and lastly, the bone in pork chop was out of this world. We then moved on to dessert drinks I love espresso martinis so I ordered one of those and it was just so good perfectly balanced. With an ask about the desserts and they only have two.The Pot De Créme and Panna Cotta. Let me start by saying they are very good. However, both desserts were very similar in texture and not worth the calories! Needless to say, we will be back! This is by far one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati, it’s a must

The oysters were excellent. The small plate scallops, cace de Pepe and mushroom risotto were amazing. Our server, Kelli, was excellent! She did not rush us through our meal and was very pleasant and attentive.

The server was absolutely amazing. She was quick on her service and the food is absolutely amazing! Great views!

We had an excellent meal, very good service, enjoyable atmosphere. We have been many times and will be back soon.

We were there for Blink so expected the worst. They prepared us to expect a little slower service due to the crush, but it was fine. They really handled things perfectly. And the food was delish.
