Setting and service were top notch; worth a trip just for those! As an offshoot of the nearby Greyhound, one would expect best-in-class which the restaurant provided. Family loved the fish & chips and shepherd's pie; the burger taste was just slightly off, though. Will return!

The food and service at The Fifield Inn is always excellent. A recent addition has been the televising of football, but the noise generated by the people watching the other evening did make it difficult at times to have a conversation.

Great location for our 12 strong walking group visiting Burnham Beeches. The Crown has an impressive interior with spotlessly clean facilities, pleasant and knowledgeable staff and a limited but very good choice of food which was excellent and delivered in good time. We all left happy. It's rare to get such all round acclaim about a chosen lunch venue.
