Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Great Missenden

Food and ambience great as usual - service was excellent - another enjoyable meal!

A good improvement over last visits , we ate inside but the garden is beautifully planted, looked bright and inviting. We arrived early on the BH Monday evening and the restaurant was quite quiet. My first choice of monkfish had already sold out after a busy weekend but the hake was an acceptable alternative option. My friend had the pea risotto and both plates were well presented. We had an enjoyable dinner and will visit again soon I hope.

Lovely family pub , kids and dog friendly , safe garden and nice staff . We had a lovely Saturday lunchtime here . Only issue was the long wait for food as I think short staffed in kitchen . Will definitely go again .

I've visited The Plough in Hyde Heath a few times since the new owners took over, and I have to say it's been a real pleasure every time. The food is excellent — full of flavour and clearly made with care. The staff are friendly, kind and attentive, and the service is always prompt without ever feeling rushed. You're made to feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and it's great for children too, making it a wonderful choice for a family meal out. It's exactly what a good local pub should be, and the new owners have done a brilliant job. Highly recommended.
