Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Shirley

Booked this for a birthday treat for my mum, party of 6 - seated early, table with already reserved for us, we were waiting on 3 people to arrive so we ask the waitress to come back for drinks order. Once everyone arrived and was seated, waitress took drinks order. Then came back to take food order, she gave us recommendations on what was good and different options to order. All food was great and came fairly quickly. Overall for our first visit it was a great experience. We will definitely go back. May I add I ended up leaving my son’s birthday card on the table - but I went back over 30 mins later and luckily they had saved the saved the card. I’m so grateful for this as they made a 6 year old very happy.

Chose the Coronation for Father's Day, after eldest son had been there. Late afternoon mains and desserts. Generous amount of food when choosing the roast, cooked well and tasty. Desserts good too. Prices about what you'd expect these days. Surprisingly large pub garden. Not too busy when we were there, which means it was quietish but also less ambience. Recently refurbed so it's well decorated and clean. Would happily eat there again. Please don't allow the menus and tables to get sticky - a pet hate.
