Excellent village pub with a great choice of pub classics. My wife and I had Pie & Mash & a dirty burger for mains and a side order of the crispiest onion rings I have ever had! Chocolate brownie & a Cherry Bakewell cheesecake ( with a Jammie dodger ice cream Sandwich ) for dessert. A warm welcome at the bar and our table was ready shortly afterwards. Service was attentive but not in your face , food was excellent & great value for money, would recommend.

The Thursday night special of steak and wine was fantastic value and equally delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and it was an excellent experience.
