La Delizia never disappoints. It is our go to place for morning coffee, lunch and special occasions. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and always give a wonderfully warm reception, making the atmosphere great. (They also love dogs). The food is incredible: I had mussels, my sister had oysters and my mum had a prawn dish - all fresh and beautifully cooked. This place is a Hastings gem.

An outstanding experience at Lury Hastings! Twelve courses of amazing food with a Sri Lankan twist. Each course was imaginative and presented beautifully. The service was exceptional - each dish explained in detail and served on beautiful pottery locally made. Great wines to compliment the food. We have eaten at many wonderful restaurants over the years and this one has to be the top of my list. Jack Lury deserves a Michelin star.. and I’m sure he will get it soon! Don’t hesitate just book! Thank you

We had a wonderful lunch at The Union yesterday to celebrate my Mum's birthday - we decided on the 'Feasting' Menu and what a treat! The food was absolutely delicious, some very unusual and special combinations, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The setting is also very nice, a roaring fire, which gives a beautiful timeless and quiet ambience combined with excellent service made for a very good choice!

Always great food here and we weren’t disappointed this time round. Great portion sizes, extremely tasty and all freshly cooked within view. We had the mackerel pate (a turn favourite) king prawns (6 large prawns as a starter so enough to share) the Diver sole which was divine abd the wild bass which was so filling. Great service and good ambience.
